A Vintage Romantic Farm Wedding
Dillon met Tori in his senior year of high school, when he began working for her dad at the family dairy farm, Kegley Farms of Pulaski. Over time the couple’s feelings for each other grew stronger and Dillon put together a surprise proposal for Tori.
Dillon proposed to Tori while their friend Audrey Cullip was doing a fall photo shoot for the couple. Tori had asked Audrey to do some fall pictures of the happy couple on the farm. They went all around the property taking pictures for about two hours, all the while Dillon was waiting for the perfect moment to surprise Tori!
Right at sunset, Dillon got down on one knee and asked Tori if she would “do him a favor and marry him.” Tori was taken completely by surprise, but of course she said “YES!!!”
With the unexpected proposal under their belts, they started planning their dream wedding. The only detail that was most important for them on their wedding day was that they would be happily married at the end of it. The couple’s choice of venue was clear and obvious. Tori’s family’s dairy farm is where their love story started and where they ultimately wanted to start their married life together. There is just something about a farm wedding with generations working together- blood, sweat and tears-all as one, that makes this wedding day that much more special.
Tori style was rustic chic with a splash of vintage romance. The couple repurposed things like wine bottles, wood slices and other upcycled items to decorate their ceremony and reception. Having the wedding at the dairy farm worked into the planning of the wedding perfectly! The great outdoors, the budding crops and barns provided an incredible backdrop for the day.
We first met Tori when she came into AmRhein’s Bridals in search of her dream wedding gown. She had previewed gown ideas on the Casablanca Bridal website and knew that our bridal boutique carried that designer. When Tori and her mother came in to shop, Bridal Stylist Lindsay, guided her to find the perfect gown, Savannah, by Casablanca Bridal.
Tori says her favorite memory of the day was simply exchanging vows with Dillon. “He is my best friend and favorite person. Knowing that we are spending our lives together is PRICELESS,” says Tori. They had so much fun at the wedding and reception spending time with family and friends and dancing the night away.
All of us here at AmRhein’s Bridals want to wish this adoring couple all the best as they begin their married lives together!
